Respite for Caregivers.   Break Time Club provides inspiration, socialization and enrichment.

Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Break Time Club provides socialization and enrichment for older adults with limitations. The program is designed to provide a break for care givers. The program is managed by caring volunteers who have been trained for the program by the Shepherd's Center of America. The participants gather at the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church on Monday from 9:30 to 2:00 pm.

Each Monday brings a new theme and participants are privileged to share their past experiences relating to the daily theme. Participants are treated each week to physical exercise, music, outside speakers, musicians, and entertainers that share their talents with the group. Hands on experiences are provided in the form of painting and crafts.

Participants are treated to a hot, nutritious meal each day.

Listed are some of the upcoming plans and menus for the coming weeks.

For more information call the church at 816-353-1435 or the director Dianne Morris at 816-353-3155.

Hands-on experiences are provided in the form of painting and crafts.
